Visiting Disneyland Paris & Experiencing The Magic
We have officially experienced the magic that is Disneyland! In all honesty I want to say it really is the happiest place on earth 😉 Before setting off I was dreading the long queues and screaming kids, extortionate prices and being a general rip off considering the tickets cost almost £200 to enter, I definitely was not a fan of theme parks and never had the desire to ever visit Disneyland. I couldn’t have been more wrong! Looking for tips when flying with a baby, after 25 flights with a baby under 1 some consider me an expect on flying with a baby.
What Changed My Mind?
I was Browsing the British Airways website for cheap flights to any destination in Europe, I saw flights + a serviced apartment right next to Disneyland, I took 30mins to decide and booked it, I told myself ‘It could be good’. I had to book the park tickets separately and I discovered the tickets I purchased were the cheapest around that no one could come close to matching! Both theme parks for 3 days for 1 adult + 1 child, We were set! Disneyland above all else is so beautiful. The colours are so vivid, the music creates that magical feeling inside, the smell of popcorn and candy floss drift throughout the air, the smiles and laughter of the children and all those Micky and Minnie Mouse ears! It just brings out great joy in everyone around, I am sure to say that Disneyland is a place of happiness, where the magic totally comes alive!
I 100% felt like a child, If you want to feel young and regain your youth back this is totally the place to be! I would literally RUN to the next location on the map, if I saw a ride I wanted to go on I would ran with excitement, I saw the Star War’s rides! Boy was I happy! The level of customisation at Walt Disney Parks is just mind-blowing, from the brilliantly replicated rides from the movies to the customised queues and merchandise, the restaurants, even the paper cups and burger boxes, everything is pure Disney and I loved it! Now I know why these places cost millions to build! I work in procurement and product development so naturally I was standing in the queue thinking, wow that tooling must have cost an arm and a leg!
Entering into Disney Studios – I preferred Disney Studios over Disneyland, you had a live stunt show which takes place at 4.30pm, this is every little boys dream, we saw lightening McQueen! How they made that car, it was brilliant! We saw cars jumping off ramps and men on fire, gun shots, at which my son stated, will they call the police mummy LOL! that alone says what an AWESOME show they put on!
Oh yes! The Alice in Wonderland themed maze is NOT to be missed, It felt so magical, I love the characters and the castle.
They were dancing, I loved it, I started to join in, the live drum performance was brilliant. Life is BLISS in Disneyland, it could so easily be classed as REHAB!
This is the land of Buzz Lightyear and Woody, all the surroundings are made huge to make you feel like a miniature toy, how cute is that, just look at those lights and in the background is the RC Racer, that was our first and last ride during our 3 days at the Disney Parks, it’s pretty extreme and I got inside information that the back seats are the best location to sit – when the ride reverses you go the highest! 😉

Sleeping Beauty’s Castle
I love Sleeping Beauty’s Castle and to be honest the one is Paris looks like the real one from the movie, the one in Cali just doesn’t quite look as good as the one in Paris, so for 1 second don’t think your going to the 2nd best, this IS the REAL DEAL!
